Abstract

This review presents an analysis of K.M. Ushakov’s book “How to Make School Better, or  Social Capital as a Priority”. Briefly summarizing the key ideas of the work, the article subjects its  content to critical analysis from the point of view of theory and in terms of practical application. The reviewer emphasizes the book’s lack of a section addressing potential risks from the consequences of implementing the algorithms proposed by Ushakov and points out the dysfunctionality of the innovations recommended in the book, which manifested in a Russian school using Ushakov’s methodology
