Elite and ethics

Abstract

The paper calls attention to the problem of ethics orientation of Russian political elite. The problem of correlation between morale and politics became me of the most important in modern Russia, but there are no a lot of special science investigations about it. The author gives the historical analysis and culturological interpretation of rise and evolution of some most stable stereotypes of moral ideals of Russian political elite, the people's perceptions of this ideal and expectations. The author investigate the political ideals in Orthodox tradition and Bizantine heredity in Russian political culture.
