Abstract

ussian entrepreneurship revives by the way of transition from command-administrative system of management to free economy under market. The author analyses in detail the ways of origination and development of Russian entrepreneurship, Russian capitalism. For more precise study of entrepreneurs' behavior in modem Russia the author uses sociological and biographical methods of analysis of typical entrepreneurship in Russia during the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth century (the biographies of such famous Russian entrepreneurs as Boldyrev. Stakheev, Titov, Kashtanov, Krestovnikov, Rastorguev). This analysis in the context of economic and political situation in the country shows that entrepreneurship's development in Russia is determined by factors of social origin, faith, education, role in society and availability of free capital. As a result of entrepreneurship's revival there is a new type of men with the value orientations and behavioral models so characteristic of them in Russia. The author pays attention to the concept "entrepreneurship" and regards the contradictions between economic purposes and value orientations of modern entrepreneurs. The author suggests that analysis of the origination and formation of Russian entrepreneurship at the beginning of the XX century will permit to propose the restoration of modern Russian entrepreneurship can be realized approximately on the same schemes and algorithms
