Abstract

This review is devoted to “Adaptation and Integration of Migrants in Russia: Challenges, Realities, Indicators,” edited by V. Mukomel and K. Grigorieva. The reviewers analyze the book within the context of the contemporary social, political, and demographic situation in Russia. They highlight that behind the key question of the book, “What indicators could we use to assess the integration of migrants?” lies a deeper inquiry: “What kind of country is Russia for migrants?” The book brings readers closer to answering this question. The reviewers discuss how the system of adaptation and integration for migrants could
be constructed from the perspective of public administration, considering the evidence presented in the book.
